Over the past few years, the 4-day workweek has evolved into much more than just a dream. Large and small businesses alike have started offering the well-liked benefit to employees, with 4-day workweeks being connected to increased productivity and better employee wellness.
Not everyone, though, is on board just yet; most companies still require most employees to complete a five-day workweek. Yes, you could request a four-day workweek from your boss, but if that doesn't work out, you really just have one choice. If you can't go to a country where the workweek is four days, your best option is to find new employment.
All of the November 4-day workweek job vacancies are presently listed in this directory. Since accepting a pay cut to work just four days a week isn't really a "4-day workweek" as we understand it, it's just part-time work, we'll only include those that allow you to work four days a week for the same compensation.
Buffer
A couple of the businesses on this list may be flexible with their four-day workweek. Buffer is not one of those organizations; for a mere four days of work per week, each employee receives the same compensation.
Buffer made the decision to trial the 4-day workweek in May 2020 because employee mental health was suffering greatly due to the epidemic. After a successful pilot, the company decided to implement it as a company-wide policy in late 2020.
Buffer encourages staff members to work a fifth, meeting-free day each week if they do have a little extra work to perform, but that is entirely voluntary. Furthermore, there isn't an office to visit because Buffer is a fully virtual team.
Sadly, Buffer is a smaller team than the typical corporation, thus as of November, there is just one position available. However, be sure to return for additional updates:

Feathr
Feathr chose to cut work at the same pace during the beginning of the pandemic, giving everyone Friday off in exchange for a 20% salary cut for executives and high management. After the pandemic's financial strain subsided, the business returned to its regular pay schedule but saw that the extra day off was significantly enhancing employee well-being and company culture.
All Feathr employees now receive Friday off, and to show how much they value their staff, the day before the three-day weekend is jokingly dubbed "Friday."
Feathr takes pride in having a 4-day workweek, and there are now many available roles that could allow you to have your own Friday every week.

Among the larger workforces to adopt the new strategy are Kickstarter's 900 employees, making it a notable company in the 4-day workweek space.
Another company that we included in our October roundup of jobs with 4-day workweeks is Kickstarter. Like Bolt, some positions have been filled, but others have been added, so you still have the opportunity to benefit from this benefit at work.

ThredUp
Among the businesses that hire at the moment and provide their workers with a 4-day workweek, ThredUp is undoubtedly one of the most well-known. The apparel brand is currently partnered with Bloomingdales and H&M, and it has grown a lot in popularity among younger consumers.
Even better, ThredUp is hiring like crazy right now, and the company's 4-day workweek policy, which was implemented in 2021 following a one-year trial that began during the epidemic, allows every single employee to take advantage of the extended weekend.

Several businesses have discovered that the shorter work schedule is effective, as evidenced by the 87% of managers who stated that they felt production had increased over the trial period.
